There was a moment this past week when a picture of a children’s hospital in Ukraine made me pause… pause in the way where everything moved in a slow motion, as my breath tried to move the tightness and heaviness I felt in my chest.

From somewhere deep within, underneath the heaviness (or maybe from the place of fear and helplessness that fed it), the questions surfaced:

How do we go on with our lives? How do we plan graduations, vacations, and family gatherings? How do I continue to offer my services and send out invoices? How do we go on as if the suffering doesn’t affect us? How do I talk about well-being and invite people to explore it with me in my course?

Just like so many times before (in different world crises), for a moment, everything seemed too trivial to spend time on.

And then, when I snapped out of the slow motion, another breath took me deeper within. It took me to the place of love and hope – where I remembered the answers to all of those questions. We do continue on, because we have to.

We have to keep on living. And we can do that in an even more intentional and purposeful way than before.

In our continuing to live fearlessly, we contribute to the collective hope, faith, and yes, love.

And so, I did my webinar recently and launched my Course on well-being (check it out here). Because yes, now is the perfect time to invest in your own well-being.

We all need to learn and practice tending to our body/mind/spirit. And when we do, we can show up with actions and solutions that are grounded and constructive (rather than reactive and fearful).

If you’re ready to learn how to use everyday lifestyle choices to improve (and maintain) your physical, emotional, and mental health, I invite you to read more about my new course and coaching experience. If it resonates with you, I would absolutely love to see you inside (we start on March 15th).

Now is also a good time to put on your favorite songs and let the music bring hope, love, faith, and joy into your lives. This is not to create a distraction, but rather a way to help you support your spirit.

Song

I was looking for a song that talks about pushing through the hard stuff. This came to me – Breathe 🙂
